Description

Baked chicken fillet with cheese and vegetables

Ingredients

  • Potato 1 piece
  • Chicken fillet 4 pieces
  • Broccoli 5 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
  • Sour Cream 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce 2 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the chicken fillet in a plastic bag and pound it with the back of a knife.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix sunflower oil, a generous pinch of salt, 1.5 tablespoons of soy sauce, and spices. Let it sit to dissolve. Pour the resulting mixture into the bag and mix. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Add a few drops of oil to a skillet and fry the fillet on both sides for 5 minutes each.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 5

Slice the tomato into rounds, grate the cheese, and mix it with two tablespoons of sour cream. You can use the same bowl where you made the marinade for the chicken (it will taste better).

Step 6

Place the fried fillet on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 390°F.

Step 7

Meanwhile, add the frozen broccoli to the bag with the fillet, mix, and transfer to the skillet where the chicken was fried. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes. It will thaw and absorb the flavors of the chicken.

Step 8

After 15 minutes, take the chicken out of the oven. Place the broccoli on the baking sheet, top each fillet with a slice of tomato, and then add the cheese and sour cream mixture on top.

Step 9

Return this masterpiece to the oven. I kept it for 10 minutes, but it didn't look very appealing. The cheese melted and spread across the baking sheet. I think 5 minutes would have been sufficient.

Step 10

Take it out, serve on plates, set the table, invite everyone, and enjoy the compliments.
