Bacon-Stuffed Hasselback Potatoes

- Potato 5 pieces
- Bacon to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, preferably choosing ones that are not too large and have an elongated shape.
Step 2
Make shallow cuts all over the potato, being careful not to cut all the way through. Lightly coat with salt.
Step 3
Insert a slice of bacon into each cut; you can alternate the bacon with cheese or with slices of mushrooms.
Step 4
Season with pepper, wrap in foil (you can also add a clove of garlic inside the foil if desired), and place in the oven for about 40 minutes (the exact time may vary depending on the size of the potatoes). You'll know it's ready by the incredible aroma!
