Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt a pinch
- Onion 2 heads
- Water 5 fl oz
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Buttermilk 5 fl oz
- Ground Dried Garlic a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Knead a stiff dough from flour, salt, egg, and water (the amount of water may vary).
Step 2
Divide the dough into several large pieces. Sprinkle the table with flour. Roll out the dough balls. Wrap the resulting flatbread around a rolling pin. Make one cut. Then remove the rolling pin and cut the dough into strips.
Step 3
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt. Drop the strips of dough one by one, stirring each time to prevent sticking. Cook until the dough becomes translucent. Drain in a colander.
Step 4
Slice the onion into half rings. Sauté over low heat in butter and vegetable oil until the onion turns dark golden.
Step 5
Add salt and garlic to the buttermilk and mix well.
Step 6
On a large plate, place the cooked dough, top with the buttermilk sauce, and then add the sautéed onion.
