  • Canned White Asparagus 20 oz
  • Citrus Zest Mix 1 piece
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Breadcrumbs 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a small skillet, heat the butter (25 g) and sauté the breadcrumbs.

Step 2

Transfer to a plate and mix with the grated lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

In the reheated skillet, melt the remaining butter, add the cooked asparagus, and toss to coat all the spears with butter.

Step 4

Drizzle with lemon juice, season with pepper and salt.

Step 5

Serve hot on warmed plates, sprinkled with breadcrumbs.

Rinse the asparagus and remove the tough parts. Place in a steamer and cook for 5–6 minutes. Do not overcook.
