Asian Style Chicken Drumsticks in a Wok
Ingredients
- Safflower Oil 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Drumstick 0 lbs
- Soy Sauce 1 teaspoon
- Oyster Mushrooms 2 tablespoons
- Fish Oil 1 teaspoon
- White Pepper (whole) a pinch
- Ground Dried Garlic 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root 1 tablespoon
- Sake 1 tablespoon
- Scallions 2 bunches
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry.
Step 2
Heat the wok to maximum temperature, pour in the sunflower oil, and place the drumsticks in. Fry for about 15 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.
Step 3
Once the drumsticks are golden, add the ginger, garlic, pepper, then the fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and finally add a tablespoon of sake.
Step 4
Increase the heat to maximum and stir-fry for 10 minutes, constantly mixing. Once the drumsticks are glazed, place them on a plate, garnish with sesame seeds and freshly chopped green onions.
