You can use any herbs, such as dill, mint, and parsley. Serve with tzatziki.
Ingredients
- Courgette 2 pieces
- Uzo 2 tablespoons
- Feta cheese 0 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Scallions 2 pieces
- Herbs 0 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour to taste
- Cake crumbs to taste
- Tzatziki sauce to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix grated zucchini (lightly squeezed), crumbled feta, ouzo, minced garlic, chopped green onions, herbs, and egg. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Gradually add flour and breadcrumbs to the mixture, stirring well until the mixture can be shaped into balls.
Step 3
Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
Step 4
Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the balls until golden brown.
