Description

Yorkshire pudding with cheddar and chives

Ingredients

  • Butter 8 tablespoons
  • Farm fresh eggs 6 pieces
  • Milk 15 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Chives 5 oz
  • Cheshire Cheese 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 430°F. Place a baking tray in the oven to heat. Grease 10 small molds with butter.

Step 2

In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the milk, and beat again. Mix the flour and salt, then incorporate into the egg mixture. Next, add the remaining softened butter, grated cheese, and chives, and mix with your hands instead of a mixer. Divide the batter among the molds and place them on the hot baking tray.

Step 3

Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Reduce the temperature to 355°F and cook for another 20 minutes until the pudding is brown and cracks at the edges. Transfer to plates and serve immediately.
