
Whole Wheat Apple Pancakes

Description
You can use kefir instead of buttermilk.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Buttermilk 5 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Apple 1 piece
- Baking Powder a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add baking powder (or baking soda) to the buttermilk. Let it fizz.
Step 2
Beat the egg with sugar. Add flour and buttermilk. Mix well.
Step 3
Peel the apple (1 large or 3 small) and remove the seeds. Grate it on a coarse grater and add to the batter. The batter should be thicker than sour cream.
Step 4
Fry the pancakes in vegetable oil over low heat for a couple of minutes on each side.
