Description
You can add any spices: dried dill and parsley, Italian herbs, khmeli suneli, or just a universal seasoning. I used multi-grain bread. You can also use toast bread or regular white bread. This recipe is versatile)
Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread 4 pieces
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Herbes de Provence to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Butter to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Lightly beat the egg with the milk. Add the spices (I used herbes de Provence).
Step 2
Heat the butter and vegetable oil in a pan.
Step 3
Dip the pieces of bread in the egg-milk mixture on both sides.
Step 4
Fry the pieces of bread in the pan on both sides until golden brown.
Step 5
The toasts are ready.
