Warm mozzarella with tomatoes and arugula salad

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes 1 piece
  • Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Melted Cheese 15 oz
  • Malt Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Arugula 1 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 265°F.

Step 2

Cut the mozzarella into 16 slices, each about 5 mm thick, and arrange them evenly in the center of four ovenproof plates. Place the dishes in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the mozzarella becomes moist and soft but does not start to melt.

Step 3

While the mozzarella is heating, dice the tomatoes into small cubes. Mix them with the oil, vinegar, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Remove the mozzarella from the oven, top with arugula, tearing the leaves by hand. Sprinkle with a little salt. Place a quarter of the tomato mixture in the center of each plate. Serve immediately.
