Ingredients
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Canned Truffles 0 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Wheat Flour to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Sourdough Bread 10 oz
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the onion and slice it into rings. Place flour on a plate and lightly season with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Dredge the onion rings in flour and fry in the hot oil until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel. Cool.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the chopped mushrooms, Parmesan, onion rings, and mayonnaise.
Step 3
Preheat the grill in the oven.
Step 4
Slice the bread into thin pieces and toast on the grill or in a toaster. Cut each piece into several small pieces and top with the mushroom filling. Transfer to a baking sheet.
Step 5
Place under the grill until a golden crust forms.
