Ingredients

  • Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar 6 tablespoons
  • Sourdough Bread 4 slices
  • Butter 3 tablespoons
  • Bartlett Pear 2 pieces
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande 5 oz
  • Raspberry leaves 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar.

Step 2

Toast the large slices of bread in a toaster until golden brown and spread with 1 tablespoon of butter. Lightly sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Step 3

Peel the pears and remove the cores, then slice them thinly. Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice.

Step 4

Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the pears and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar. Cook until soft and caramelized, about 2–3 minutes. Then add 1/4 cup of water and let the sauce caramelize.

Step 5

Spread mascarpone on the toast, top with pears, drizzle with caramel sauce, and sprinkle with raspberries.
