Warm arugula with spinach, garlic, and feta
Ingredients
- Arugula 5 oz
- Spinach 0 oz
- Onion ½ head
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Feta cheese 5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers ½ piece
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the arugula well and let the water drain.
Step 2
Slice the onion into half rings. Cut the bell pepper into strips. Chop the chili pepper after removing the membranes and seeds. Crush the garlic cloves with the side of a knife, then chop them.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the onion, chili pepper, and bell pepper. Add the garlic. Then add the young spinach and sauté for a couple of minutes until partially cooked. If using frozen spinach, increase the cooking time.
Step 4
Next, add the arugula, tearing it by hand beforehand. Gently mix and let it warm in the pan, but not for too long.
Step 5
Turn off the heat and add the feta cheese, crumbling it in your hands. Gently mix.
