Ingredients

  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Tomatoes 0 lbs
  • Green peppercorns 10 oz
  • Onion 0 lbs
  • Olive Oil 5 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the onion into 1 cm thick rings. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into thin strips. Peel the tomatoes and chop them finely. Mince the garlic very finely.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a deep skillet. Add the onion and cook over low heat, stirring, for 10 minutes. Add the pepper and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, season with salt, and cook over low heat, stirring, for 1.5 hours.

Step 3

In a small skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add the garlic – sauté over low heat, stirring, for a few minutes until the garlic begins to darken. Add it to the vegetables along with the oil just before everything is ready.
