Description
If you chop the vegetables not too finely, you will end up with a salad, which makes a great side dish for fish, shellfish, and cold meats.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Green peppercorns 1 piece
- Onion 1 head
- Courgette 1 piece
- Champagne Vinegar 3 tablespoons
- Safflower Oil 6 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the sauce 30 minutes before you plan to serve it. Clean and finely chop all the vegetables.
Step 2
Mix the tomatoes, cucumber, pepper, and onion in a bowl. In a separate container, whisk the vinegar with a pinch of salt and pepper, then add the oil. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes in a cool place.
Step 3
The sauce can be poured over fish or shellfish. It is best served in a sauce boat with meat.
