Description
Béchamel sauce is used for making lasagna, served with pasta, and is used to bake vegetables and mushrooms.
Ingredients
- Soy Milk 15 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Ground Nutmeg a pinch
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place a saucepan over low heat and add the flour, salt, nutmeg, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. While constantly stirring, gradually pour in the soy milk. Continue stirring the sauce until it thickens to the consistency of sour cream.
Step 2
Once the béchamel sauce cools, whip it with a mixer to achieve a lighter consistency.
