Tuna tartare with avocado and cherry tomatoes
Ingredients
- Pompano fillet 20 oz
- Shallot 2 heads
- Avocado 3 pieces
- Marinated cherries 5 oz
- Capers 1 tablespoon
- Lemon 1 piece
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Parsley 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the tuna fillet. Mince the shallots, capers, and parsley.
Step 2
Whisk the mustard with olive oil and soy sauce. Mix with the tuna and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Scoop the flesh out of the avocado and mash it with a fork, drizzle with lemon juice, and add quartered cherry tomatoes.
Step 4
Place avocado through a ring mold, filling it one third of the way, and fill the remaining space with tuna.
