Tuna Balls with Ricotta

Ingredients

  • Ricotta cheese 5 oz
  • Canned Mackerel in Oil 5 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
  • Pickled capers 0 oz
  • Cilantro 1 bunch
  • Breadcrumbs 0 oz
  • Salted anchovies in oil 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil ½ l

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place ricotta cheese, canned tuna, eggs, and grated Parmesan in a bowl.

Step 2

Finely chop the capers and anchovies, and mix them with the other ingredients in the bowl.

Step 3

Add breadcrumbs and cilantro, as well as salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4

Then thoroughly mix all the ingredients in the bowl until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Step 5

From the resulting mixture, shape round balls weighing about 30 grams (the size of a ping-pong ball), and then roll them in breadcrumbs.

Step 6

Fry the balls in vegetable oil on both sides until they turn a brownish color.

Step 7

Place them on a paper towel and serve warm.
