Tuna and Egg Bruschetta
Ingredients
- Ciabatta 1 piece
- Butter 0 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Canned tuna in its own juice 0 oz
- Ocean salt to taste
- Sumac to taste
- Arugula 2 pieces
- Spanish onions 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thinly slice the onion.
Step 2
Cut a piece of ciabatta.
Step 3
Place the ciabatta on a hot dry skillet.
Step 4
Once the bottom side is browned, flip it and toast for another 1 minute. Then set aside.
Step 5
Heat the butter in the skillet.
Step 6
Crack 1 egg into the skillet and fry for 2–3 minutes over medium-high heat.
Step 7
Add salt.
Step 8
Add sumac.
Step 9
On the toasted bread, first layer the onion, then the egg.
Step 10
Top with tuna.
Step 11
Garnish with arugula and serve.
