  • Olive Oil 2 spoons
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Onion 1 head
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Celery stalk 1 piece
  • Red Grape Juice 15 fl oz
  • Lean Beef 20 oz
  • Campbell's Beef Broth 15 fl oz
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Baking Tomatoes 30 oz
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 3 spoons
  • Spaghetti 20 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large skillet and add chopped garlic, onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté on low heat for 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Step 2

Increase the heat and add the meat. Stir with a wooden spatula, breaking up any lumps. Add the broth, wine, tomatoes, sugar, and parsley. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and add spices.

Step 3

Before serving, cook the spaghetti, drain it, and serve with the sauce and Parmesan.
