- Passata Tomato Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Tomato Puree ½ cup
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Carrot 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the peeled roots and onion, sauté them in one tablespoon of oil and a heaping tablespoon of flour, then add the tomato puree, stir, dilute with one cup of meat broth, and simmer on low heat for 8-10 minutes.
Step 2
At the end of cooking, add salt to the sauce, a tablespoon of hot tomato sauce, a piece of butter, and mix thoroughly until fully combined with the sauce, then strain through a sieve.
