Tomato Sauce

Description
This sauce is perfect for pizza. With the amount of ingredients used, I ended up with a jar of about 800 ml. It can be served with pasta or spread on baguettes. You can add a pinch of sugar to taste to balance the acidity of the sauce.
Ingredients
- Tomato Puree 15 fl oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Tomatoes 4 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Spanish onions ½ head
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in olive oil until translucent. Add the tomato puree, tomato paste, and finely chopped tomatoes (preferably diced). Season with salt. Simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes until the sauce becomes more homogeneous.
