Tomato Salsa with Lime

Description
The salsa can be stored in the refrigerator under plastic wrap for up to 2 days. Before serving, you can add a bit more lime juice and salt.
Ingredients
- Fresh Cilantro 0 oz
- Red Onion 0 oz
- Lime 1 piece
- Garlic 1 clove
- Jalapeño pepper ½ piece
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Canned tomatoes 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the onion, cilantro, and garlic. Remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeño and chop it. Squeeze the juice from the lime — about 2 teaspoons will be needed.
Step 2
Blend all ingredients except the tomatoes in a blender on pulse mode — about 5 times. After draining excess juice from the tomatoes, add them to the blender and blend 2 more times.
Step 3
Strain the salsa through a fine sieve and serve.
