Tofu stir-fried in hot oil with oyster mushrooms
Ingredients
- Tofu 5 oz
- Oyster Mushrooms 12 pieces
- Peanut Butter 2 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
- Garlic 1 clove
- Grated Ginger Root 2 teaspoons
- Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Scallions ¼ bunch
- Kung Pao Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro to taste
- Chinese green beans 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a large skillet over high heat, add the diced tofu, pour in the peanut oil, and fry until crispy.
Step 2
Add the sesame oil and sauté until golden brown.
Step 3
Reduce the heat, add the garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and 2 green onion stalks, and mix well.
Step 4
Add the oyster mushrooms and 2 heads of Chinese cabbage, and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve immediately.
