  • Cottage cheese 10 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Dill ½ bunch
  • Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Balsamic Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk 4 tablespoons
  • Sourdough Bread 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the bread into standard thickness pieces (about 1–1.5 cm) and toast them in a dry skillet until golden brown and crispy.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, finely chopped dill, salt, and finely chopped or crushed garlic. Add milk to achieve a smooth consistency.

Step 3

Dice the tomatoes into small cubes, place them in the skillet, and sauté for a couple of minutes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, adding freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Step 4

Spread the cottage cheese mixture on the toasted slices of bread and top with the warm tomatoes.
