Tapenade of Olives, Black Olives, and Chili Peppers
Ingredients
- Pitted olives 1 cup
- Pitted olives 1 cup
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Capers ½ cup
- Anchovy fillet 1 can
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the olives and black olives. Cut the chili pepper in half, remove the seeds, and finely chop. Also finely chop the anchovy fillet.
Step 2
Combine all the ingredients, add the crushed garlic cloves, dress with olive oil, lemon juice, and balsamic vinegar. Season with black pepper and mix well.
Step 3
Serve as an appetizer with toasted bread, crackers, or crostini.
