Tagliatelle with Sage
Ingredients
- Butter 15 oz
- Water 15 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 4 cups
- Chopped Sage Leaves 10 pieces
- Cream 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour 4 liters of salted water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add the tagliatelle to the boiling water and cook until al dente.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, start preparing the sauce. In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter (be careful not to burn it!), add the sage leaves cut into long strips, stir, and sauté for 1 minute. Then add the cream and reduce the sauce for a few minutes.
Step 3
Drain the cooked tagliatelle in a colander and mix with 3 tablespoons of butter. Add the tagliatelle to the sauce, stir, add grated Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper to taste, mix well again, and serve.
