An Eastern-style pancake where the main ingredient is sweet potato, complemented by a touch of potato. Additionally, it features a plethora of delightful flavor additions such as curry, paprika, and chili pepper.
Ingredients
- Sweet Potato 15 oz
- Potato 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Curry 1 tablespoon
- Paprika ½ spoons
- Chili Flakes to taste
- Scallions 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Sour Cream to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Grate the sweet potato using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Grate the potatoes on a fine grater.
Step 4
Combine the sweet potato and potato, season with salt, mix, and let it sit for 2 minutes to release some moisture. Squeeze out the excess liquid and transfer to another bowl.

Add curry, paprika, chili flakes, an egg, and flour to the drained vegetables.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper, then mix well.
Step 7
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil. Use a tablespoon to scoop the batter onto the skillet and fry the pancakes until golden brown.
Step 8
Flip and fry on the other side. Place the finished potato pancakes on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 9
Slice the green onions into rings.
Step 10
Serve the sweet potato pancakes with sour cream, garnished with green onions.
