Sweet pizza with pine nuts and candied fruits
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 5 pieces
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Pistachios 5 oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix 2 tablespoons
- Candied fruits 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Raisins 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a clay bowl, beat the butter until creamy, add the egg yolk and continue to beat until the yolk is mixed with the butter, then add another yolk, and so on until all 5 yolks are added.
Step 2
To the resulting homogeneous mixture, add the powdered sugar, yeast diluted in a small amount of warm water, salt, and well-sifted flour. Knead for 5 minutes, then add 5 well-beaten egg whites, add the lemon zest, and mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3
Place the mixture into a greased and floured baking dish, and put it in the oven at moderate temperature (180°C) for about 40 minutes.
Step 4
After 25 minutes, open the oven and quickly, to avoid losing heat, sprinkle the surface of the pizza with pine nuts, raisins, and candied fruits. Close the oven again. Sprinkle the finished pizza with powdered sugar.
