Ingredients

  • Garlic 10 cloves
  • Red Long Chili Peppers 10 oz
  • Sweet Pepper 10 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 10 oz
  • Toasted Cumin Seeds 2 teaspoons
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Mild Chili Spice 2 teaspoons
  • Tomato Puree 5 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the peppers, cut them in half, remove the seeds, and slice them into strips.

Step 2

In a large pot, add crushed cumin seeds, toast them, pour in the oil, and heat.

Step 3

Add the sliced peppers, minced garlic, chili, and cook for about a minute, stirring. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes, until the peppers are soft.

Step 4

Remove the lid, increase the heat, and stir in the tomato puree. Cook for another 15 minutes, until the excess liquid evaporates. Season with salt.

Step 5

Serve the dish warm.
