Sweet Lentils with Pumpkin

Description
It turns out like porridge. I use nothing but pumpkin, lentils, and water. If desired, you can add honey or sugar, but it usually tastes great as is. Perfect for feeding children.
Ingredients
- Lentils 5 oz
- Pumpkin 5 oz

Step 1
Preheat the oven.
Step 2
Rinse the red lentils with water in the ratio indicated on the package and add an additional quarter cup. Cook the lentils, which will take about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and place them in a baking dish.
Step 4
When the lentils are ready, drain the excess liquid (using a ladle or tablespoon) and try to evenly pour it over the pumpkin. The pumpkin should not be swimming in the broth; it is enough for it to cover the bottom.
Step 5
Bake the pumpkin until tender (about 20 minutes if covered).
Step 6
Add the cooked pumpkin to the lentils.
