Sweet and Sour Ramps
Ingredients
- Ramps 30 stalks
- Salt to taste
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Champagne Vinegar 3 tablespoons
- Honey 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse the ramps, removing the leaves. Keep only the stalks.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat the olive oil, add the ramp stalks, and sauté for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
Step 3
Then add the honey and vinegar, stir, reduce the heat, and cook for another 3–5 minutes until the stalks caramelize.
Step 4
Serve hot or warm, sprinkled with black pepper.
