Sweet and Sour Peppers with Fried Goat Cheese

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Red Long Chili Peppers 1 piece
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Chorizo 0 oz
  • Goat cheese 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 3 tablespoons
  • Spices 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the onion into thin rings. Cut the pepper into strips and remove the seeds. Remove the skin from the chorizo and cut it into cubes.

Step 2

Pour a tablespoon of olive oil into a pan and heat it. Add the onion, pepper, and chorizo, and sauté for 3–4 minutes. Add spices to taste.

Step 3

Meanwhile, heat another pan and pour in a tablespoon of olive oil. Cut the cheese into four rounds, coat them in flour, place them in the pan, and fry for 2–3 minutes on each side until lightly golden.

Step 4

Add sugar and balsamic vinegar to the pan with the peppers and let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the peppers from the heat, serve on plates, and drizzle with olive oil. Once the goat cheese is fried, place it on the peppers and garnish with parsley.
