Description

All ingredients (including rice vinegar, sushi nori sheets, a special mat for rolling the rolls, soy sauce, and wasabi paste) are available at supermarkets.

  • Sushi Rice 10 oz
  • Rice Vinegar for Sushi 4 spoons
  • Lightly Salted Red Fish 10 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Avocado 1 piece
  • Cucumbers 2 pieces
  • Shrimp 5 oz
  • Scallions to taste
  • Sliced Processed Cheese 5 oz
  • Dill to taste
  • Dried Nori Seaweed 3 pieces
  • Wasabi to taste
  • Pickled garlic to taste
  • Soy Sauce to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the rice in cold water for 20 minutes, then rinse it well and cook.

Step 2

Let it cool and add 4 to 5 tablespoons of rice vinegar, mixing well.

Step 3

Prepare the fillings: slice bell peppers, fresh cucumbers, salted salmon fillet, avocado, shrimp, and processed cheese. You may also include green onions, dill, and even sprats.

Step 4

On a sheet of nori, spread a thin layer of rice, and on one side place the filling: fish and cucumber, cheese and avocado, or fish and bell pepper, green onion and cheese, or sprats and green onion, dill and cucumber, or shrimp and green onion, cucumber and cheese. You can mix and match any combination. Roll it up using a special bamboo mat.

Step 5

After that, slice the roll into pieces and arrange them on a plate. Serve with pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi paste.
