  • Fava Beans 1 cup
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Sweet Corn Sticks 4 cups
  • Onion 1 head
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Coarse Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Orange Bell Peppers ½ piece
  • Green onion tops 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the fava beans in salted boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain. Rinse under cold water. Remove the outer green skin.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the corn kernels, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, season with salt, and cook until the vegetables are slightly browned, about 6-7 minutes.

Step 3

Add the sliced bell pepper and fava beans and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Step 4

Remove from heat, add the chopped green onion, and mix well.

Step 5

Serve warm or cold.
