Ingredients
- Young zucchini 12 pieces
- Anchovies 6 pieces
- Olive Oil 15 fl oz
- Melted Cheese 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Milk 15 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the batter (flour, egg, milk).
Step 2
Remove the pistils and stamens from the flowers, wash them, unfold, and let them dry.
Step 3
Stuff each flower with half an anchovy fillet, adding a cube of cheese.
Step 4
Fold the edges of the petals inward, closing the flower.
Step 5
Heat the oil, dip the flowers in the batter, and fry until golden brown.
Step 6
Place the cooked flowers on absorbent paper to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
