- Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
- Squid 25 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Tomatoes 20 oz
- Rosé Dry Wine ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Sugar ½ teaspoon
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Chopped Sage Leaves 3 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the frozen squid in a bowl, pour boiling water over it, and remove the skin and innards. Cut into rings.
Step 2
Sauté the onion and garlic, add the squid to the pan, and cook until browned.
Step 3
Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, peel, chop, and add to the squid.
Step 4
Season with salt, pepper, add cinnamon, sugar, and wine.
Step 5
Simmer until the squid is cooked through.
