Squid Ink Pasta with Seafood in Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Scallops 2 pieces
- Spaghetti 15 oz
- King Prawns 16 pieces
- Garlic 5 pieces
- Olive Oil 3 spoons
- Arugula to taste
- Cream 22% 15 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Basil to taste
- Oregano to taste
- Seafood cocktail 5 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix to taste
- Marinated cherries 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a pan, add minced garlic, and sauté.
Step 2
In a pot of boiling water, add salt and the squid ink spaghetti, and cook until al dente.
Step 3
Place the thawed, peeled shrimp and seafood mix (squid, octopus, mussels) into the pan with the garlic, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with basil and oregano, and simmer until partially cooked.
Step 4
Cut the scallops and cherry tomatoes, then add them to the other seafood and sauté for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Pour in all the cream, add a little more salt, and season to taste. Once the cream comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer on low. Five minutes is sufficient for the cream to thicken to the desired consistency.
Step 6
Place the cooked spaghetti in a pot, add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil, and toss to combine. Do NOT rinse the spaghetti with cold water!
Step 7
Place the spaghetti on a plate, add the creamy seafood sauce, and garnish with arugula.
