Ingredients

  • Spinach 20 oz
  • Fresh basil leaves ¾ cup
  • Ricotta cheese ¾ cup
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Whipped Cream ¼ cup

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Pour 2 cups of water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add the spinach leaves and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess moisture. Transfer to a food processor. Add the basil and ricotta. Blend well until smooth.

Step 2

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden, about 3 minutes. Add the spinach mixture and cream. Stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl and serve.
