- Campbell's Beef Broth 1 cup
- Brown Sugar 0.3 cups
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Carrot 15 oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots 1 cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine the broth, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Add the carrots, bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the carrots to remain slightly crisp.
Step 3
Add the prunes, increase the heat, and cook until the liquid evaporates and the prunes soften, about 5 minutes. Serve.
