Ingredients
- Tomatoes 20 oz
- Basil 1 bunch
- Spaghetti 20 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce 4 tablespoons
- Salt 3 teaspoons
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Butter 1 piece
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the fresh tomatoes and blanch them in boiling water to make it easier to peel. Peel the tomatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces.
Step 2
In 1 tablespoon of oil, sauté the tomatoes over medium heat. Add salt, pepper, and crush the garlic.
Step 3
When the tomatoes turn into a homogeneous mass, add a few tablespoons of tomato paste for color and a more pronounced flavor.
Step 4
Chop the basil and add it to the sauce.
Step 5
Cook the spaghetti with a little salt.
Step 6
Place the spaghetti on a plate in a 'hat' shape, add a bit of butter, and pour the sauce on top.
Step 7
Garnish with cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, basil, and top with grated cheese.
