Spaghetti with chicken and mushrooms in cream sauce
Ingredients
- Champignons 10 oz
- Chicken fillet 2 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Cream 22% 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Spaghetti 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash and dry the chicken fillet.
Step 2
Peel and wash the onion. Slice it into half rings or dice it.
Step 3
Wash the mushrooms and slice them.
Step 4
Heat a skillet and add vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the mushrooms. Sauté over medium heat, stirring, for 5-7 minutes. Then, add the chopped onion. Cook everything together for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Bring 3 liters of water to a boil. Add salt. Drop the spaghetti into the boiling water. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Cook until done according to the instructions, about 4-8 minutes.
Step 6
Drain the cooked pasta in a colander. Transfer it to a pot and cover with a lid.
Step 7
Cut the chicken breast into pieces.
Step 8
In a skillet, add the sliced chicken breasts and sauté briefly, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add the cream and simmer over low heat until the chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Then, add the cheese and stir until fully melted (approximately 3-5 minutes). Add the basil and remove from heat.
Step 9
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix the spaghetti with the mushrooms and chicken. The spaghetti with mushrooms and chicken is ready.
