Soft-Boiled Eggs with Anchovies and Trout
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Anchovy fillet 40 pieces
- White bread 4 slices
- Cold-smoked trout 0 oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the canned anchovy fillets and place them in a mortar along with half of the butter. Blend the other half of the butter with the trout until it resembles a fish puree.
Step 2
Toast the bread in a toaster or on a skillet and cut it into strips about 2 cm wide. Spread half of the strips with the anchovy butter and the other half with the trout butter.
Step 3
Bring water with half a tablespoon of salt to a boil, gently place the eggs in and boil for exactly 3 minutes.
Step 4
Serve the eggs in small glasses with the fish toasts.
