Description

Ingredients
- Snails 0 lbs
- Onion 5 pieces
- Celery salt 2 pieces
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Safflower Oil 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Red Long Chili Peppers 1 teaspoon
- Tomato Puree 2 tablespoons
- Lemon 5 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the snails in several waters, boil them in a small amount of salted water, and remove them from their shells.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion, celery, and garlic.
Step 3
Sauté them in sunflower oil.
Step 4
Add and also sauté the flour.
Step 5
Sprinkle in the ground red pepper, add the tomato puree, stir, and dilute the sauce with the broth in which the snails were cooked.
Step 6
Once the sauce boils, add the snails.
Step 7
Transfer everything to a baking dish and place 4–5 slices of lemon on top.
Step 8
Bake the plakia for 10 minutes at 355°F.
Step 9
Serve cold.
