Smoked Salmon Mousse with Sour Cream
Ingredients
- Gelatin 1 teaspoon
- Smoked Salmon Flavored Croutons 5 oz
- Sour Cream 1¼ cans
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Chopped Green Onions to taste
- French Baguette 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine 3 tablespoons of cold water and gelatin. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Over low heat, allow the gelatin to dissolve, stirring.
Step 2
Cut the fish into small cubes.
Step 3
In a blender, combine the fish, sour cream, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and season with salt. While mixing, gradually add the gelatin mixture.
Step 4
Pour into 2 bowls (each 250 ml), cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until set overnight.
Step 5
Sprinkle the mousse with dill and serve with sliced baguette.
