Simple Pickled Red Onion
Ingredients
- Red Onion 20 oz
- Red Wine Vinegar 10 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz

Step 1
Slice the onion into half-rings. Place the onion in sterilized jars. Pack it tightly.
Step 2
Combine the vinegar and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Pour the boiling marinade over the onion and cover with a lid. Allow to cool completely at room temperature.
Step 4
After cooling, place the onion in the refrigerator. Let it steep for at least 24 hours. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
