Shrimp with Pineapple and Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • Lime 1 piece
  • Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Fish Oil 0 fl oz
  • Mild Chili Spice to taste
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Peeled Cooked Shrimp 16 pieces
  • Canned Pineapple Chunks 4 pieces
  • Milk 0 fl oz
  • White bread 2 slices
  • Whole egg 2 pieces
  • Olive Oil 5 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the marinade, wash the lime, grate the zest. Squeeze the juice and mix it with soy sauce, fish broth, and ground chili. Add 1 clove of garlic, pressed.

Step 2

Remove the insides of the shrimp and soak them in the marinade. Let sit for 15 minutes. Cut the pineapple rings into 4 pieces. Thread the shrimp onto skewers, alternating with pieces of pineapple. Grill on all sides for 3 minutes, occasionally turning and basting with the marinade. Arrange on a plate and serve with garlic sauce.

Step 3

To make the sauce, soak two slices of white bread (without crust) in 50 ml of milk. Squeeze out the excess, then blend with 2 cloves of garlic, 2 egg yolks, and 150 ml of olive oil. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and ground chili.
