Description

Shrimp with Melon, Arugula, and Pink Pepper

Ingredients

  • Arugula 5 oz
  • Tiger shrimp in brine 4 pieces
  • Watermelon 5 oz
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Honey 0 oz
  • Vinegar essence 0 fl oz
  • Pasilla Pepper 10 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the honey dressing. To do this, mix honey with vinegar (preferably mint vinegar), and add salt to taste. Gradually whisk in the vegetable oil.

Step 2

Crush half of the pink pepper with a knife, and add it to the dressing along with the remaining pepper. Mix the arugula with the dressing.

Step 3

Peel the chilled melon. Sauté the shrimp in olive oil for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Place the melon in the center of the plate, and top it with the hot shrimp. Pile the dressed arugula on top. Drizzle the remaining honey dressing around the plate.

Step 5

Serve immediately, as the highlight of the dish is the contrast between the cold melon and the hot shrimp.
