Description

This is a very simple recipe where the key is not to overcook the shrimp.

Ingredients

  • Tiger shrimp in brine 15 oz
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Thyme 3 sprigs
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Salt a pinch
  • Dry White Wine 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 Image

Step 1

Heat a skillet, add olive oil and butter, minced garlic, and thyme, and stir for a couple of minutes.

Step 2 Image

Step 2

Place the shrimp in the skillet. Cook for one and a half minutes on each side. Generally, you should flip them when the bottom half turns pink. The key at this stage is not to overcook; it's better to slightly undercook them.

Step 3 Image

Step 3

Add wine to the shrimp and let it simmer to evaporate the alcohol (about 30 seconds). Remove from heat and cover with a lid for a couple of minutes. The shrimp will finish cooking under the lid, ensuring they remain tender and not rubbery.
