Shrimp Julienne with White Wine

Ingredients
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Apple Wine 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Hard Cheese 0 oz
- Nutmeg to taste
- Red Curry Powder to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in 1 tablespoon of butter with curry powder until golden.
Step 2
Add the shrimp and mix.
Step 3
In another pan, sauté the flour in the remaining butter until it turns brown.
Step 4
Gradually pour in the milk while stirring, then add the wine.
Step 5
Add nutmeg and salt to taste, and mix with the shrimp.
Step 6
Divide into ramekins, sprinkle with grated cheese, and place under a hot grill or in a preheated oven for 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts and browns.
Step 7
Serve immediately.
